the rs4 comes with a different special edition lip kit which yours does not have. So he is wondering where it is at.

 

It's a 4.0, i'll take a pic of the plate, it's a 334. Maybe you just can't tell in the pics, but it is one.

it very well maybe a rs4 but it does NOT have the lip kit that it comes with from the factory. I assuming you bought it used and whoever owned it before took it off and sold it.

I did buy it used that's probably what they did. Cheap bastards, oh well I got it for 9.5k off of craigs list so you can't expect much.

the RS4 kit is hideous anyway (the fake chrome trim is the worst).

 

They weren't cheap, it comes on the RS4.0 from the factory. Odds are, the car was in a wreck and the owner didn't want to dish out the insane amount of money the dealer charges for the lip kit.

either that or its not really a RS4.0 and they simply mounted that RS4.0 tag onto it from another vehicle to try and get more money out of you....lol

Did anyone else realize that the rs4 lip kit looks like the lip of the toyota corolla?

 

i love the rs4 and when i saw the thread i was gonna get on here and try and buy it lol

 

its a real rs4. on the side shot pic where the hood is open, you can see the seat and it has the rs4 seats.

 

Yeah it was a salvage, I got it for 9.5k so it was a deal, only had 6k miles on it when I bought it.
It was in a rear end crash, so that's probably what they did, at least they put on another lip kit after though. I have the seats, the wheel, the shifter, everything. I can take pics of the interior if you want.

 

That's a lot of cash for a salvage. But I guess if you plan on keeping it, that doesn't matter.

 

what's the interior like? does it have regular seats? or those leather seats that say "RS 4.0" on it?
