Default my tC, just off the truck!

This is the car I ordered! I was just driving by Toyota/ Scion of Iowa City, and I saw it, and when I stopped to take a closer look, it had the options I ordered, and then I saw the vin number, and realized that it matched the one the salesman gave me last week..

It still has the plastic on the hood, trunk lid, and wheels. Since the dealer won't be open till monday, I will have to wait just a little longer...I hope they can get the prep done right away, so I can pick it up Monday after work..I am just glad that it is finally here

I'm in the same boat. My tC is due to arrive at the dealership tomorrow, but won't be ready until Monday because the service department won't be open on Sunday to perform the PDI. The light at the end of the tunnel is near!

Well, I was hoping to order my car within the next couple of weeks, but I am gonna wait until January. Yeah it sucks, but I can put some money away for the accessories I wanna buy for it. Exhaust, tint, spoiler, mudguards, floormats.

So I got 6 months to listen to how much you guys love your cars.

From the looks of this thread and other similar ones, looks like the last allocation is hitting dealerships all at once.

Let's hope they are hitting the dealers everywhere, since we are not in the same state that we ordered my girlfriend's tc from, my parents are going to drive by that dealership today.

I placed a deposit on my SSM tC on July 17 after shopping for a Camry/Corolla (ultimately to buy one used); I didn't really want a Camry or a Corolla, but there weren't a lot of cars I liked in my price range (poor teacher). Anyway, I fell in love with the tC, but having never heard of it, I was worried about this Scion "brand". After several hours on scionlife.com I was even more excited than I was at the dealership. I only let myself call the dealer once a week to check on the status of my car, but Friday he told me that ...

My tC came into port last Monday and is currently in transit. My salesperson said maybe the end of this week or next week.

Just got a call from my dealer. My tC is ready and I'll be picking it up after work. For anyone's reference, I placed my deposit on 6/29 and will be taking delivery 8/2. Finally the wait is over.

Congrats Chachunka, Glad to hear that you got the good news also.

We got a call about an hour ago, and we were told that the truck is arriving this afternoon with my girlfriend's BCP on the truck.
We have to wait till Saturday to make the trip though, 386 miles back to the dealer in Tn.

Default Longo Toyota

Anybody waiting on shipment from Longo Toyota? Dealer called but gave me a very missed message. But she promised in the month of August.

I put my deposit down on June 10th. Have been waiting ever since. Dealer claims it is coming in this week sometime, but I am not taking that serious. I guess it will just come when it comes. What sucks is that I bought this car to be my summer car and the summer is going to be almost over by the time I get it. 8 weeks is a long wait.

You'll know your car is truly coming in when they can provide you with a VIN number and ask you to come in to fill out the sales contract. Besides, you'll need the VIN in order to get insurance for the car in advance.

So if they have the VIN then the car is sure to be coming right? They gave me the VIN number but they still can't tell me when this week it is going to come in. I don't know how you can get a VIN and not know what day something is going to arrive.

They gave me the VIN and told me between 8/2 and 8/6 so I am just playing the waiting game now. Scared to walk away from the phone incase they call.
