My tC like to roll on 3 wheels... (video)
^ You would know if your car was able to do it. It feels funny when you are inside and the rear wheel comes up and drops down again. I was pretty alarmed the first time it happened, but now it just ain't no thang.
Driving super hard on the street is not a good idea. I cant view the vid at work, so I cant say anything about that part and dont condone being unsafe on the street.
But the car pulling a wheel up is due to weight transfer and the car sticking like it should. If you have never seen a car pull a wheel off the ground in a hard corner, you havent watched much racing. Well, other than straight line I guess .
The inside rear wheel is doing nothing for you in a quick, tight corner. You want all the weight on the outside, and on a fwd car that tends to understeer anyway, you want it on the front. That is exactly what is happnening. Not to mention that the sway is doing its job of trying to keep the car level, although you have gone beyond its limits in this case.
If you are worried about the car rolling over, that isnt going to happen from this. The car is FAR from rolling over. Again, this is just common as can be in autox.
And yes, hitting cones. That cone was my nemisis on that day for some reason. To the point I almost enjoyed hitting it just to try and kill it
The good part is that I was hitting it with the back half of the car, which means my line was right, I was just an inch too far in :D
