My tc is a target.
Ok so ive had my tc for about 5 months now . The first month was great, after that people have been constantly aiming at my car. First a POS pickup truck dropped a metal pipe out of the back of his bed tearing up a bar under my car.
Next this damn grandmother ran a stop sign and tore my bumber ,hood ,and radiator to pieces. If that wasnt bad enough I have come inches from about 10 accidents during the last 2 months in the tc.
No one EVER comes close to hitting my 1991 crx im starting to believe the car is horrible luck.

not sure don...but i seem to have the same bad luck you do. i almost got rearended less than 24 hours after getting the car and some dumbass old woman in a subaru wagon pulled out in front of me right before that. the other say i found a scuff mark on my bumper where somebody kicked it or something. good thing it polished right out...i would have been ____ed. i think a lot of "bad luck" comes from being around jealous ****** who cant let anybody have something nice. haters sayin my car aint luxurious when they know it is, b!tch!
i would have to agree with the bad luck thing. i have had my door kicked in, rear ended by some idiot in a truck, and right after it came out of the body shop again one of my neighbors friends backed into it with his giant truck. and each time it comes back from the body shop something else it wrong. (door trim painted the wrong color, door doesnt shut right, missing carpets. i could go on for days.
I was having a bad luck day on Saturday. I was just trying to make one 20-mile trip and I almost got hit three separate times.
It started when I had only just left my house and I was passing through the very first green light, and some old granny going in the opposite direction decided to make her left turn directly across my path as if I didn't even exist. If I didn't hit the brakes hard then I would have T-boned her. Thank god I had my eyes on the road and I wasn't distracted by anything. I looked back in my rearview mirror afterwards and the light was still green! That means she totally didn't even see that my car was approaching. Old people seriously need to get off the road.
Just about 3 miles later I had some idiot pull out in front of me. I honked and hit the brakes and got ready to take evasive action, but I had traffic to my left and nowhere to go on the right. I was hoping the other driver would see and hear me and would speed up or get out of the way, but they panicked after hearing my horn and stopped dead in front of me in my lane. I had to mash the brakes even harder to keep from having a serious accident. This was the first time I have felt the ABS engage on my tC. This was on a highway and I basically went from 60mph to 0mph in a really short distance because there was nowhere to go on either side. I was impressed by the tC.
By this time I was convinced that I was invisible, because it seemed that other drivers were completely unable to see my car. This was during the daytime, so maybe I forgot to turn off my cloaking device or something. I almost reached my destination and the exact same fckn thing as the first time happened to me again. I was approaching a green light and planning to pass straight through, and there was still about 15 seconds left on the pedestrian timer. I had all the time in the world, but then some old lady decides to wait until right before I am in the intersection to make her left turn across my path. I decided not to use the horn this time because I realised that can make matters worse. I figure if she actually sees me then she might do something more stupid, so I should just leave her blissfully unaware of my presence and I will take evasive action on my own. This time I swerved around to the left side, into the oncoming lane which she had just departed from, because she was crossing the lanes to my right.
I dunno, some days are just like that. I have about 60,000 miles under my belt, but I have never had a 20-mile stint as hair-raising as this one. I can go for 5,000 miles without a single incident, and then all of this cráp happens in a single afternoon. I think one of the lessons I learned is to stay off the roads on the weekends, because old people are fckn dangerous.
