i like the suede work i did something similar minus the headliner.. i started too but the "oh ____ handles" are missing a piece and cant get them connected back on... but where did you get your suede from, i could locally only find synthetic suede and its a _____ to work with, glue bleeds through very easy. i have been trying to find real suede and am having a hard time.

man harrison, you and i always have just about the same stuff to do on our cars! but i think they'll end up looking different enough.
i wanna do the same dark blue suede interior. my seats are gonna be the dark blue suede down the middle with black leather or leatherette on the sides i think...

cool, thanks, your car is cool too!

yea its been raining every 3rd day here
there was a show yesterday and it drizzled/sprinkled so spots galore! but i still hade lots of fun though, the rain made it feel better cause of all the humidity.

heres som shots of my interior for the next few days as i figure out how exactly imma put my new componets in.
anyone who has done it, where did yall put the crossovers?? i have the hard parts done (wire through the door gromments) just need to figure where to put the crossovers.
(now wondering if they will fit in the side kick panels but probably wont....)

feels very weird driving with no door panels on.

it was a headache now its just plowing though cause its just wiring it all up and screwing the midranges in. you can see the end is just within reach.
my car has been wired up for two amps for a year, since i went mad sciontist and modded the hell out of the factory 10" bazooka.
the only thing stopping me from finishing was the damn speaker brackets not fitting cause the kicker 6.5" component midranges aren't 6.5" like it says but really more like 6.85"
finally got some adapters that fit (that i had to make when i shouldn't have had to )

but year youve got an auto? and i guess you just customed up a shift boot that goes over the gear display thingy?

i could but i changed the amber bulb in there to a blue LED and it looks cool and it was a pain so im not gonna cover it up i would like to know if i can get it shorter though, it doesnt need to be that high IMO

and its very fun now with the S/C. its the easiest F/I an auto can do. with turbo on an auto you gotta do too much extra and i like my warrenty on that particular aspect of my vehicle.

GJ, get some ziplock baggies and put the crossovered in there. close it as much as you can and then tape the last part where the wires come out tightly closed and then add a dab of silicone to fully seal it. that's what i did with my xovers and i havent had any problems iwth them and wetness

ill try that, my other option so far was to just drill a whole and stick it in the cubby under the speaker grill,
if i can get it to stick and stay in there, theres also a spot to the side of where the plug where the window/door lock buttons are inside, where it comes out and makes the armrest...

Harrison, do you have any problems with bottoming out with your s-techs? I really like your drop, nice and clean.

nah... i scrape the front lip every so often on large speed bumps, but that's nothing major.

the stech + rs1 lip is a great look and completely daily drivable.
