I had a head gasket leak and was smokeing so i replace the head gasket and got arp headstuds. Put everything together torque spec and timing but car would start. It had no spark and searched on google and scionife and they said timing might be off so took off oil pan and chain cover redid the timing but car is still no turing over and no spark. try to turn on the car and heard a big bang and looked at the car and the stock intake was blown open! please some tell me whats wrong!!!

 

did you leave the battery on the ground when you replaced everything? have you tried charging the battery or replacing it?

 

nope did not! i had it on a wooden desk

 

what happens when you try and start it?

 

the car jerks and sounds like its gonna start but never turns over and we took the coils for the spark plug out to test if it gave any sparks and it didnt...tested two

 

try replacing the coils. check the charge on the battery check the wiring harness for the coils. if it's not those it could be a faulty ECU.

 

Also check your grounds.
