Ok guys i need your advice!
I was going to work today on the southern state parkway and hit a big puddle on the left hand side...my car slid and i hit the wall like 2 times. i was going about 60 mph so my bumper is gone...rear bumber smashed up....and my muffler is hanging becuase when the car hit the wall from the back,it hit the tip of the muffler...
so now my car is out of service... lol
what should i do.. this is my first accident...i called the insurance company up and they are going to send someone to look at it this tuesday...i have a few dents on the door of my car that happened a while back should i tell the guy that i never seen these marks so that he can add them to the claim....
please help...give me advice...
sorry if this doesnt make sense im still shook

Let the insurance take care of it, or if you have the time and money go get it estimated yourself through some of your local body shops, see how much the damage is and see if you can pull the money out of your pocket..because having insurance claims will mean higher rates later on. If your planning to just go along with the claim, just include the dents, since their fixing it anyways...I would do the same..

Read through this thread too...it gives basic ideas on what to do when dealing with an insurance company and your rights, more specifically - read the posts by me...
