I went to Scion in Chehalis, WA... I was just THINKING about trading the tc in for an xb and they had me fill out an app. to turn into toyota financial who my loan is through to work some numbers... I was told they would not turn it into any banks just toyota, I just received 3 letters in the mail from banks declining the new loan?? WTF was told they wouldn't apply to other banks...
SO.... My question to everyone is how do I get those app. requests off my credit report I know when you apply for credit or I should say check your credit your score goes down each time... They did not have my permission to do so and told me they wouldn't?
Please any ideas I finally got my credit score right around 700 after years of trying to be responsible and I hate for my score to get dropped even if its a couple points?

I don't think the three separate ones will have much affect... most places would just view them (especially all in the same time frame) as one check.
That said, you should talk to their financial guy and ask what happened. Beyond that, why would they run your report through TFS anyway? The rates are already set based on your credit score. They would only need to pull your score once and be able to tell you what rate TFS would give you.
Again though, your point about too many credit requests is valid, but a few all at the same time is no where near as bad as one every other month or something for like 6 months. See what I'm saying?

ya def. see what your saying.. I wasn't sure if it drops my score everytime they applied... I don't know why they needed to apply to TFS again I was confused by that to considering I just got my loan a year ago my score hasn't really changed?? They offered me 13,500 for my 08 TC which I declined and thought this was all over....
