Not sure on highway, but with city driving and 5 speed and air conditioner, I get about 25 miles per gallon even.

R stands for reserve. You have approx. 70 miles on reserve but most experts will tell you to fill up at 1/4 of a tank.

I've had the AC on most of the time, and i just got 27 miles. that's town, highway, and some "racey" (quick acceleration) driving. I have a 5-speed.

29 MPG - almost all highway with some stop and go traffic. Somewhere around 330 / tank or so.

most of my driving is highway and I'm a lead-foot. I find myself doing around 80mph most of the time. add to that the fact that it's been very hot in the bay area (read: AC almost always on) and I got about 23.5 mpg on the first tank.

I average around 23 mpg (three tankfuls so far). AC is usually off, hwy/city is 50/50 and I'm not a speeder (except when checking for moonroof noise).

:?:

You take the Miles that you drove and divide that by your Purchase of however many Gallons you put into your tank.

Don't they teach math in school anymore?

I've had my F/M AT tC for about 2 months now and I've noticed a very disturbing trend. When I first bought the car I was averaging about 30MPG and that’s with a heavy bias towards stop and go street traffic. Now here we are two months and some eight tanks later and I find that my fuel gauge is finding its way to R faster and faster each time I fill up. I am aware that since I have 2,200 miles on the car that the dirtier oil has some part to play and that my air filter is probably getting pretty filthy with the horrendous Chicago streets but nevertheless I’m beginning to become worried that this may become a problem. This downward trend in my MGP may soon very negatively affect my pocketbook, and, with the high price for gas in downtown Chicago this thought is very unsettling. To answer the original question for Billy Bob, I am currently, and I stress currently, averaging 25MPG. Also if anyone has some constructive insight to this “problem” I’m all ears.

Mix of city and highway. About 25mpg with a/c.

Wish it got more. 25 is kinda low for a 4 cylinder. My 500hp talon got 32-33mpg.
