i got 3000k hid's and basically i want my fogs to turn on w/ my headlights....im a complete noob when it comes to wiring and electrical work. can anybody show me a diagram or link me to another thead where i can get some help. thanks

also my fogs are hella micro de's.

I did this awhile ago, I'll see if I can find the link to the DIY.

 

Hmm I can't find the DIY for the foglights, but I'll try to tell you what I remember.
There should be 4 wires from the relay:
(a) power wire to the battery
(b) ground
(c) wires to the power the foglights
(d) a long wire to the switch inside the car

and there should be another wire from the switch to the oem fog light harness near the fuse panel

I don't know if these are installed already or not. You only said that you wanted to turn on the fog lights with your head lights. Are you saying that you want to by pass a switch and make them turn on all the time? Or do you want them to only have power when the head lights are on?

Either way, the simplest way would be to tap into the power to the head lights. I don't know what color is the power, but I am sure I could figure it out.

If that's what you want, let me know and I will see what I can do. Or you can continue to look around.

 

yeah thanks for the help guys, i just want to bypass the switch and just have the fogs turn on with the headlights
