Default Neon Blue tC

Blue EVERYWHERE!!! ;-)

Illustrates the brightness of the interior thru the rear glass at 30% tint.

Now before you scream rice, consider this my underbody kit is controlled via remote relay and can be turned on and off from a distance of up to 110ft. So in this case i think the fact that Im a total geek cancels out the rice factor.

Yep gauges are DIY, took me 3.5hrs for 28 LED's (including center console) and I was bug eyed by the time that was done, them suckers are tiny.

ordered from lc-led.com

Nice color choice :D

The gauges arent too hard if you are familiar with soldering surface mount stuff. For the person asking the question about them, here is some info some of us put together:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=61793&start=0

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=37747&start=0

And if you dont want to DIY then I am doing them for some people already. Due to the ODO data being stored in the cluster the only real good way is to ship me the cluster and have me mod them and ship back. Unless of course you are in the twin cities... in which case I can do them in person.

sortof, i soldered litle pieces of metal onto the board to give the LEDs a hieght boost(1\8th ish ), so a cross section would look like this: |^| where ^ is the LED, did a more extreme lift to the ones behind the lcd, like half inch ish. And it looks great, Im in wisconsin and I havnt seen anyone else do this besides the pics on the net so I dont know how much of an improvement it made but I love it.

Thanks a lot!!! that's pretty good price for both items.. one more thing... did you install them yourself or you had somebody do it? If you did it, do you think the work involved is complex or not really?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply guys, the install was not bad at all I did it all myself except for some help from my friend who helped me route wires undernieth the car. He's a toyota tech so I just asked him to put them where they wouldnt get pinched I had the whole thing rigged by the time he got his hands on it. The tC is PERFECT for underbody lights, anybody whose done this already knows what im talking about. On the sides there are plastic caps every 12" or so that are perfect for mounting the brackets to so you dont have to drill into the body at all anywhere on the car and you can go back to stock in an instant by just getting more of those caps.

The gauges are a little tricky I've been putting together electronic kits since I was little so I have a decent amount of soldering expierence. I wouldnt recommend it for someone who hasnt soldered before.

All together to make your interior look like that:
Gauge & Console LEDs: $42
Streetglow Gold: $136
Remote relay kit: $32 (Optional)
Alpine 9853: $265
Factory illumination: $250
(3) 5LED 168 bulbs: $12 (2 for driving lights, one for interior dome)

Total:$737

Damn... that adds up quick
