New 2010 Tc has LSD option ?
So I was at the dealership getting some service done, oil and tranny fluid change and tire rotation, along with having my clutched looked at due to the squeeky noise. Needless to say the dealership was unable to make the clutch squeek like it does so many times for me (could be due to the high temp grease i applied a few days before but was still squeeking, mabye it just needed some time to work itself in). So as I was waiting for my servicing to be done i went into the dealerships Scion department and got on there computer to look around at some stuff online. I played around a little bit on the "Make your own scion" web page that they always have up and noticed that the new 2010 model has the option of having a LSD (Limited Slip Differential) installed. I asked about it to the servicing department but they were unsure. Funny how the dealership doesnt even now if it can be installed on earlier models. My best guess is it can cause i havent heard much of a difference between the earlier models and the later tc models. Has anyone looked into this at all or have any info ?
No ____ !!! Man well i guess i'm just out of the loop then. I feel stupid now. Thanks guys. Is there anyone here who has it installed ? How does it handle ? Any difference ?
