SO yeah my 2 month old new Ark cat-back is just too quiet. Almost "stock" quiet.. just to give you some idea.

What if I replace the monster resonator with a smaller one? Will that make it slightly louder? Will I have to be concerned with rasp?

get a different exhaust, or just take out the resonator, i wouldnt replace it with a smaller one if you want it to be a little louder..

I'm a bit concerned test pipe= rasp.

 

without a header, test pipe will not= rasp

 

honestly add a header and see if the sound level increases....it is a prety good resonator on the pipe,would be a shame to cut and splice.

well if you sound almost stoc, you wont be that bad. i have 2 resonators to kill rasp. so you should be fine.

Side note, i have a used JVT header for sale.

Confirmation on this anyone? No offense but if it's going to cost me money I need to be sure. And hiw much do you want for that header? Good quality?

Well it appears you've saved me a great deal of money should all this prove true. Any guesses as to how much louder this should make it? Maybe I'll just upgrade the s pipe while I'm at it.
