That's how I feel about other cars; people can have 'em. I don't know what it is about Corvettes that always attracted me to them.

You better post up when you get that Fiorano.

Congrats man, nice car!!

Come to my neck of the woods to see nothing but young kids driving cars like that if not better. My old High School is full of "mommy and daddy bought it for me" rides!! It's sick! I paid for every car i've owned so far! Nothing given to me! Living in one of the wealthiest county's sucks sometimes Glad your at least paying for yours!

My dad's in Iraq for another year but when he gets back, he wants to get a G35 coupe and twin turbo it...i can't wait!

Congrats again!

Fancy. I'm looking into getting a 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello in a few years. I might be living in my parents basement but I'll be driving a Ferrari But seriously. I'll buy one if its the last thing I do.

whats the point of posting your vette here? i think the majority of us will not care unless u had anything tc related. especially posting it in the tC's owner forum.

secondly, i see no bodykit. i see no new wheels and i see no paint. it all looks stock to me with a nasty (subjective) wing.

unless you meant that car was repaired from an accident then good going buying a damaged car.

And thank YOU for that poinltess post. This goes back to 1st grade: if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all. I guess some of us missed that lesson.

I guess you could say the same when people buy 350Z's and they post about them, or would you be singing a different tune?

If you don't like it leave and keep your anger to yourself. And the title was a joke--lighten up a little bit. Everyone is so ____ed off around here it's not even funny...

Oh, and the wing that you so kindly pointed out. It's not my favorite either, but it sure as hell wasn't going to stop me from buying this car. I think it will eventually grow on me, but if it doesn't, I don't care. Like ir or leave it; it's mine, not yours.

He posted because he is happy about a new car.

And if the title of the post seriously confused you, you have my sympathies.

Thanks Chris. Your insights are always(read: never) valued.

And I'm not trading in my tC, sorry.

All I have to say about any of this is that it doesn't matter how old you are as long as you pay for your own stuff! I can't stand the spoiled little kid that gets everything handed to them on a silver platter! I like the car man it is a good looking Vette!

Hell ya im a firm believer in working hard for your own things. My parents never gave me anything like that and I will do the same with my kids one day. Its so stupid when parents buy their kids cars or other expensive things. They dont realize the value of it then. I knew a kid in high school who's dad bought him a Porsche 911. It was like a $90,000 car and he ends up wrecking it. So stupid.

There's nothing like driving a Vette. I'v built several C2s and C3s including my own 575whp 400sb 76 C3 Stingray.

The best is the sound gravel makes right behind your head as it comes off the wheel into the well as you're tearin ___ out of a parking lot

Nice buy man, enjoy it and respect it.
