I was cruzin down the freeway the other day in my TC, and about 3 cars infront of me a diesel blew out a tire... And well a huge piece of the tire, hit my front bumper the went under the car. So now the bottom half of my bumper is cracked and bent, and it also broke a plastic strap piece that connects the bottom of trhe bumper to the underside of the car.... It hit on the left side where about the left fog light would go... It also knocked out the bottom grill.... SOoooo IM ____Ed.... and Wanted a lil help from my fellow TCers ( this is my first post but ive been reading the forums for a while )

Does anyone know how much it would cost to replace the front bumper?

I was also thinking about getting the fog light kit installed and seeing if they installed that they could sorta fix the bumper too....

Another option I thought about was just to get the front end mask, and hopefully have that cover up the damage...

Any thoughts input and suggestions are greatly appreciated.... I can post some pictures later if anyone wants to see...

I was quoted 222 for the bumper and about 230 for painting at the dealers body shop....

 

That sounds about right. I had a hole in my front bumper from a trailer hitch. I was quoted close to $500 for a new bumper, painted and installed (from the dealer). I had to bring my car to a body shop to fix a gash some kid put in my driver's side door. I just got my car back today. It looks brand new again. Unfortunately, I don't think Bondo® and paint will remedy your situation.
