i'm from massapequa.
also, dropping it doesnt void the warranty right? as long as no problems are caused by the parts i install..

and whats the drop measurement of the h-techs? are they the same as TRD?

the h-techs drop it a bit lower than the trd ones. i'm not sure of the exact numbers, but it's slightly different for each application anyway. also, don't worry about your warranty. just go with a reputable manufacturer for the springs and a trustworthy shop to install them, and everything should be fine.

oh i know where ur talking bout im always out there friday/saturday nites on surise hwy.

trds are 1.25" all the way around.
h-techs are 1.9" front and 1.5" back, htechs have a more aggresive drop then trd's

i love htechs but city streets are horrible so will jus stick to my trds still need to install them though. i know sum1 whos actually selling like new trd springs for 90 bucks i think

yeah i like to drive down sunrise alot, only at night though. going through my town on sunrise from like 5-7 is suicide. for some reason, this area gets jammed up the most.

Look in my profile for s-techs with 17's.

IMO if you don't want to hurt performance and want to keep or better it, stay away from 18's all together. They are for looking good, and you lose performance.

Get yourself some real light 17's with a good tire and you'll be satisfied.

I had 18's (the factory scion option Enkei's) and didn't like the ride because they had a 35 series tire. Which I think is popular for 18s. I have 45 series tires and they soak up bumps a little better and the ride feels smoother.

Instead of buying those TSW wheels, you can just get some TRD springs and spray paint your stockies bronze or even grey for an awesome look. Check the wheels and tires section for a DIY, ive seen an awesome BSP with bronze rims and someone had a photoshoot in the lounge with a lancer and another car and he had grey/anthracite stockies and they looked great.
