Default A new guy

What's up ScionLifers,

This is my first post on the forum and just wanted to kind of introduce myself. My real name is Brandon and I dirve an 09 tC color coded 8t5 (forgot common name). Sorry for the lack of pics, gotta get a camera up and running, and besides its stock anyway.

My short list of mods:
Megan racing header w/heat wrap
Autometer boost/vac gauge
2 inch lowering springs
6k HID kit
Gauges hvac and radio converted to hyper white
Air/fuel ratio gauge in glove box
TRD short shifter
Agency power light weight crank pulley

And if you guys don't mind, I'd like to know what you have done to your ride and/or tell me what is the first mod you did to your car or the best.

Brandon

Yes you missed it. I do too. In my minimum wage downfall I am not making enough to live the boosted lifestyle anymore

Just an idea for now, and I plan to, in the long run, if I get the job I want, in a year or so I'll trade in for the FRS or BRZ.

So you have a boost gauge but no turbo, Scionlife at its finest!

Well that was my first reply to that kind of observation...

Did you notice the oil pan welded in bung?

Bit of advice, don't be cryptic in your posts. No one has time to try to decipher everything you post. If you just said at the begining you had a turbo but removed it no one would have said anything.

Welcome to the forum.

I wasn't trying to be cryptic. I didn't want to post what I had on it previously since I figured it not important and I don't think there is any evidence to prove otherwise. I post like questions on what people have done or what they thought was best and had no replies to that.

Thanks!

First of all, WELCOME to the forums. This is a great site to learn, grow, and share with other users.

Secondly, why did you get rid of your turbo? If you did it for the money, which I am TOTALLY assuming based on your minimum wage comment, then why not sell the gauges as well?

I think what people are trying to get at is that it is a little odd that you are not turbocharged at the moment, but still have your gauges.

Whatever you choose though, it is YOUR ride. If you're planning on going F/I again, then so be it. But everyone is curious to know your reasoning. Thanks.

Thanks toeveryhour, cool name too lol.

That's a very good point. I didn't think anyone cared. I apologize, but it's because I am at a total indecision as to what I want to do with the car. Want to work my way into trading in for an FRS/BRZ, but again, I'm at a total standstill as to what I want done, so I stopped messing with the car. Might go to school pretty soon, so it's like a war going on in my head lol. Might sell the few things I have left pretty soon though. For that, I guess there is a for sell/trade section on ScionLife? I see some kind of itrader icon by everyone's name.

RS, there are rules that come along with posting a for sale advertisement in the Classifieds section. Members have to have at least 50 posts and they also have to be registered on the site for at least 14 days. To reach 50 posts; they must all be of constructive nature. Please no spammed posts.

Any other questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the info! I don't plan on posting any spam lol. If it's not constructive, it's probably entertaining and that's it.

Since you said any lol, I've been trying to figure out who the purple tC was at the TX2k12 event in Houston this year, had an intercooler looked like 05-07, and it was the only other only tC I saw parked at the Omni besides mine. Tried to find the person and see what was done, but never saw them.
