Default New guy, just picked up the 08 TC

hi everyone

i just traded in my 08 Acura TL Type S for the 08 TC. will be getting engaged soon and buying a house early 2010 so i had to downsize for the life changes.

i couldn't imagine myself in a civic or hybrid, TC seemed to be the nicer car for the price. it's a pretty cool little car hehe, could use leather seats

anyways just stopping by to say hi to everyone !

edit: some pics couple of weeks before i traded it:

Congrats on the engagement.

Have fun with the new ride, it's a heck of a car.

pick up clazzio seat covers in full leather, they fit the car like a glove, looks like its standard, pick up a navigation and you got yourself a mini-TL

ouch talk about a major downgrade but the tC wouldn't let you down, just do a few things to it and you'll have about almost a comparable ride as the TL heh. congrats on both

yea it was a bit heart breaking, the girlfriend/soon-to-be-fiancee blew it a kiss lol.

with the ridiculous gas prices, i think i will add TRD intake, lower, HID, and some 19s then call it a day. maybe not even the wheels, gota see how our budget looks.

engagement ring + wedding + house = bank account

lol

Keep it stock, so if you do trade it in, the mods won't affect the value. Plus, you'll save a lot of $$$.

welcome, but out the good camera and lets see some pics of the tC! there are some cheaper/"better" intakes then the TRD intake, and maybe watchout for the 19s. we do have some good HIDs here if you search for Operatic, he sells hids for 130 shipped over night. (order by 5 on monday youll see them tuesday) so yah, one big point on scionlife is the SEARCH button, learn it use it love it. anyways, welcome. youll like it here.

well its just a stock super white 08 TC lol not much to see yet.

i'm actually looking to trade my stocks for some 18s, still trying to decide on the 19s, cost issues obviously and that the ride won't be comfortable at all. BUT it will look kicka$$

i've been searching to decide between mobilehid & xenithxenon, i sent both companies email so far xenith is the only one that has replied quickly. xenithxenon does not have the relay & fuse harness though. do you know if i will NEED this? i haven't installed a HID kit since the good old days of the 03 corolla.

i wanted to go w/ TRD CAI to avoid any engine warranty issues if i need to take it in. suspension i decided to go w the same springs as the TLS, which is tein S-tech springs w/ KYB yellows.
