new guy from kentucky
Hey im Kevin, and i just got a new tc about a week ago. Ive done a couple things to it already, i couldnt help myself lol.
first..
I had to get a shorter antenna.. the factory one wasnt cutting it..

then, i decided to paint my engine cover red, and used a special technique to keep paint off the letters, lol.

And just today, i recieved my 8000k hid kit from hidextra.. havent gotten to see them in the dark yet, but i love them so far!

Now i just have to decide which lowering springs i want to go with. I've narrowed it down to tanabe df210's or tein s-techs. Ill also be getting tokico blue shocks.

well, im not going to race or anything. Yet i dont want horrible handling.. so nobody reccomends the df210s? Ive read good and bad about both df210 and stechs, im torn between the two, so i guess ill wait for a couple others to chime in with their thoughts!
haha... well.. its not really anything special at all, but i tried a couple different things that didnt work for me. I attempted to mask around the letters which i failed at. I attempted to rub vasoline on the letters and paint over that but that failed. So i ended up painting the entire thing, then letting it dry for a day, then taking a cup of paint thinner and dipping q tips in it, and rubbing the paint off the letters, dabbing the q tip on a paper towel first to make sure it wasnt dripping wet. It will obviously only work if you want the silver letters back. It works very well though! you just have to have patience!
