Default New owner saying hi!

Hello all! I am a proud owner of a IIP tC. I have had it since 04/25/05. As far as the car goes I have the door sills, 2 in 1 mats, TRD springs, and a TWM short shifter. Let me just say that TWM makes one hell of a shifter especially with their weighted shift ****. Not to mention it took me about 20 min to install. The dealers are charging way too much for the TRD shifter. Oh yeah I sold my 01 S2000 for the tC. I also have a 81 DeLorean so having 2 two seat sports cars wasn't being pratical at this time so I needed something with more room and that can hold more than one additional person. Of course the S2000 is one hell of a car compared to the tC but I am still very pleased with the tC's feel. The one thing I need was the short shifter because I have still yet to find a better shifter than the S2000's but the TWM one is close.

Welcome to the boards and if you ever feel like you made a mistake getting rid of the s2000, you can always take that DeLorean and go back in time. Sorry, had to do it. Enjoy the car.

The DeLorean is one of my favorite cars of all time. I was thinking about getting one in California from a guy selling it for $30,000. That car is just tooooooo good. He had it painted in black with custom interior.

Was that the one that has the rotory engine conversion in it? Mine is appraised at $34k. This is the price you would see for a near perfect car. There are a lot of them for sale at or under $20k because most owners never did what they needed to to keep them running and looking good. If you are still looking into buying one I can answer any questions you have on them. FYI they were never painted from the factory. If you see a painted one it might have been in an accident and the paint is covering bondo. To me there are two things about the the car that make it what it is, the doors and the stainless steel body.

I agree, the stainless is awesome. Not to mention that car made the movie, no other car would have had the same lasting effect for all to enjoy!

I also like the flux capacitor that it comes with.
