tC was made for the owner to what ever they want to it. If I slapped a huge decal on the hood of the car of Domo's face then I'm going to be proud of it. It was my decision to do it.

Apr splitter, imo, is the only front end piece that looks good on the tC, everything else looks totally out of place. Not many people have the APR splitter. Not many people have roll calls on the tC, not many people have a Domo on their gas cap, not many people have the Viniati spoiler, not many people have the rims I have on a tC.....that doesn't make me stand out?

 

Just because you have parts that not a lot of people have doesn't mean you "stand out"

What's so special about domo on the gas lid? The viniati spoiler is ugly and I can't say I find those wheels very attractive either.

 

I just checked your profile pics XIE and sure you have a good amount of mods but your tC looks stock. Just lowered. Do you have updated pics of your ride or are those it?

 

so wait? having stickers and a splittar makes a car more modded then the next? cause to me it looks like he has the same CAI and a strut bar jus like u, jus his looks cleaner with no doofy stickers or tenzos. id rather want stockies then them anyway.

 

oh and fromt he looks of it his car has alot more mods that matter then ur car. sorry but XIEmperorIX' car > ur car

And if you guys wanna start this "who's car is better?"; I think you guys need to get to building your cars, rather than trash talking, when you're listing Ipod cables and bulbs as mods.

You know I never expected this kind of close-mindedness from the Scion community, but every community has those folks I guess.

I've seen plenty of cars that stand out just by keeping it simple without all the decals and huge wheels.

no prob IXemperor, clean and simple how it should be. these cars arent race cars theres no need for millions of aftermarket part stickers or even a nikon sticker at that LOL. but from the looks of it u guys are building ur cars so u can go to shows and post pictures to gain recognition and approval of ur peers. Wow this got out of hand all because of some stickers. Opinions are opinions, get over it. We can agree to disagree. He likes them, you dont, end of story.

His TC is clean, seen it first hand, that 300zx tho, omg i have more photos of that from HIN than anything haha.

yeah the 300zx is a monster i love that, but our opinions about the stickers is our opinions like u said. besides that the car is fine, but he didnt like it and felt alittle insecure and checked out emperors profile to see what he had. thats all

Since he did post pix in a PUBLIC forum, he should have known that 'constructive criticism' would
ensue. I like his tC. It's nice and clean and better than a lot of tCs on this site. I just think it would
look 100x better without the decals. And it's like what you said, "He like them, you don't". That's all that
should matter. But then he got his feelings hurt and had to check out someone's profile and call them
out. Was that necessary? No. If he can't handle the fact that some people do not like his decals, then
maybe he shouldn't post pix of his tC. People do not like my tC. Oh well. I'm not going to instigate a war
of words over the intra web-machine. OP; keep on doing what you're doing to YOUR tC. If you like it, rock it!

 

thats what the mod list is there for. to show off what you got. for people to check. thats what I did. I credited him for having lots of mods. He has more done to it than my tC.

But seriously, as mclaren stated, never expected the close-mindedness from the Scion community. Yeah, 95% of you all dont like the stickers....but im not taking them off because when it comes to my car, I don't care about other people's opinions.

Oh and rosedaleny, about my Nikon sticker, Im a professional photographer, why wouldn't I put a Nikon sticker on there. Who says im limited to putting just car parts on there. I have a Puma on the other side, an Apple one on my windshield, Teisto one on my back window, Above&Beyond on my back window, JPGmag.com on my back window, my website logo on my side windows.

The funny thing about this whole thread was for me to show off my ride and my buddys ride, not to have to defend my reasoning for stickers. They are just stickers, if you dont like them, dont look at them.

 

That's quite a lot of stickers for a nearly stock car.

 

that 300zx is clean!!! your car is very clean too, just lose the stickers and youre good to go.

yeah but do u need to show wat kinda camera ur using on the side of ur car? that's like me saying I us Drain-O in my house so ill put a sticker of that on my car, or even windex cause I clean my counter top in my kitchen with it. seems like a lot of people are against the F&F stickers

 

I think the Nikon sticker is the only one worth keeping.
