Default New Scion tC Owner, "MOD" list help appreciated =)

Hey fellas!

I just got a new Scion tC (Super White). I'm so happy!
I am looking forward for that following "mod", I hope someone can show me a good deal either on eBay, a website, or someone on SL.

-S2k Antenna (which glue, should I use and where can I get it. So people cannot steal my antenna)
-Alloy wheel lock
-Sporty Pedals
-2 way pager (a good one that doesn't lag)
-Broadway mirror
-Rear Lip Spoiler (do I need to drill holes in my trunk?)

Thanks guy!

Congratz and welcome. I believe i saw someone who bought the rear lip spoiler and modified it so he can put it on without drilling holes. Use the search button it will probably help you find answers to your questions

sporty pedals- i got mine at trdsparks.com, great customer service and good price and easy to install.

S2k Antennas- i hear the honda dealer is probably your best bet, people use loc-tite on it to try to prevent theft but it still gets stolen from what i've read.

Rear Lip- i'm not sure of where to get them but i'd imagine that if it wasn't drilled into the trunk then most likely it will be adhered with a heavy duty double sided tape, which could be prone to theft it someone wanted it bad enough.

welcome to SL, tons of useful info here. like someone else said, use the "search" feature and you will find the answers to many of your questions.

I will be getting a White tC sometime in the future too. I saw a great Carbon Fiber lip that just goes on with
heavy duty two sided adhesive tape. I looked really sharp on the White tC. I will try to find the link to it.

im not hating but, why do peopel always askwhat mods they need for their car, ultimately tom, dick, and sally is gonna say what the person should get cause maybe that part they have for their car.

which in the end run, everyones tc looks alike.

well... they all look the same from the factory anyways, and not everyone has the same exact mods as another person...

anyways, yeah. ken @ trdsparks is a cool guy. i needed some exhaust hangers from him last week. local dealer wanted $25 apiece. I called ken up and got 2 hangers for 11.50 apiece + 7 bucks shipping. works for me!

Welcome to Scion Life and the world of modifcations for the Scion tC. This car has huge aftermarket support and it's only getting bigger.

Here is a list of the parts we are currently carrying for the Scion tC

Also here is a shorty antenna replacement from Agency Power that fits the tC

-S2k Anetenna (which glue, should I use and where can I get it. So people cannot steal my anetenna)
Honda dealer, or eBay. There used to be a guy selling them here, but I'm not sure he has anymore. Check classified sales

Use loctite (thread locker) to secure the antenna if you feel that is necessary

-Sporty Pedals

Easiet option is OBX pedals. I got mine from Ken @ TRDSparks and love them

-Broadway mirror
Set your mirrors according to the 90 degree method, and you won't need to purchase blind spot mirrors or wider mirrors... modern car mirrors don't need help if set correctly.

-Rear lip spoiler (do I need to drill holes in my trunk?)

Again, go ahead and get it from TRDSparks... there's a article here of a member who did it without drilling holes.

Back when I had my WRX, I was cautioned against getting a Broadway mirror since they can become a projectile launched at your face if the airbags go off. Beware.

Enjoy, I just got my tc a month ago, modding is addictive ( TRD springs, sub woofer, etc..)
