Default new tc owner

Hi, my name is liz. I have a 2008 TC! Its automatic, This is my first car and i love it. I dont have much to say except hi. I found a note on my car reffering me to this website. I have a growing interest in cars and im trying to learn some. My boyfriend has a eclipse x and he drag races it and i love watching it, its acctually really fun to watch and is what got me interest in knowing more, so i dont feel completly stupid when im around all of his car people. I want to do some little things to my tc, like a intake and a exhaust, its what he reccomended. I still havent gotten a manual down pat, but im learning!. I hope to see you guys around!

heres a picture, i only have 1!

ur boyfriend suggested intake and exhaust for the first mods?

i smell rice! haha just kiddin... its an automatic so the first thing that i would do is:

3 new tires

those are essential on the tc

congrats on the car!
Now, I dont mean anything offensive, but if you're semi-able to drive a manual and you're into some sort of racing, how come you didn't opt for a manual?

they only had that color available in automatic, i didnt want a black one, or white one, which were both manuals. i dont want to lower it becuase i live in the city, and i dont want to worry about speed bumps. tint i might look into though!

thanks for all the welcomes

"i like watching it, id be to scared to race."

That's a good mentality. Now if only you can get guys your age to act the same way!

You've seriously got a problem with the age here don't you?... Geeze... Anyways, enjoy your tC! And it's ok if you put the TRD Lowering springs on it. It will only drop it an inch and a quarter so it won't be enough to really worry about speed bumps and stuff. I had 19's and the TRD's and they worked fine!

If you really want to know, I spent 2 days in the hospital because a 17 year old driving his daddy's suburban smashed into the side of my trunk doing 52 in a 25. He just got his license 3 months before that. So yea, I think with age comes maturity (at least in the sense of caring about other people in your surroundings and knowing that the world doesn't revolve around you).
