Why would you want to pick up a clutch when the factory one works fine? If yours in worn out already, then fine, but I can't see anyone wearing out a clutch since the car came out. A performance clutch will over no advantages on a near stock car. If you supercharge it, and the clutch becomes an issue, then get a clutch.

because high performance clutches haves a shorter span that you have to press the clutch pedal...which in turn gives you quicker shifts, along with the greater gripping power. Agreed i dont NEED it right now since the car has 500 miles on it, but i like getting goodies, and i get carried away...but dont we all?

Don't forget to add they don't last as long as stock!

This is not always true. It's also not true that a stronger clutch requires more clutch pedal effort. About the only thing that is almost a given is that it will have more gripping power. It also might have harder friction material, which would actually make it last longer than a stock clutch.

On a stock engine with a good clutch it will offer no benefit.

true... it's like going overboard and getting every bolt on product just to feel good that you're modding your car when you plan to get forced induction anyway. i say hold off on it. all you're goona do is just give your left calf muscle extra strain.
