Hello, just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm new to these forums and hope to learn a lot about my next purchase. I dont have a tC because my dealer sucks but hoping to get one soon. I've have been doing nothing but waiting on my SW MT tC since April and still no car. I've decided to just opt for the 06 instead which will make my wait a little longer but I've already been waiting 2 months whats another month of waiting.

So again hi to Everyone and sorry if there is a topic strickley for newbies already in place, I searched and didnt find any.

Hello and glad you could join us! I wish I had got the '06 but I couldn't wait (my last vehicle died). I was lucky enough to find a 5-speed FM sitting on a lot that someone had ordered and then backed out of the day it arrived. Waiting would have sucked!

Welcome. I am fairly new here as well. You may be waiting a lot longer than a month. From what I have seen it looks like they are only rolling out tC's in the 2 new colors for right now. I think someone here said it is about 12 weeks from when it rolls out of the factory to when it appears on the car lot.

I'm actually hearing 20 different things on when the 06's would be arriving. I've heard anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months. I've heard that they've been producing the 06's since the beginning of May. I dont know the true story but when I get my SW 06 MT tC I'll let you all know.
