Traction=control=safety=good. Unless you don't like/want any of those (which some of you apparently don't)
That last part about saying that some of us don't want it...I think that is a skewed way of putting this. Maybe some of us (like me) just don't see the need for a traction control system on a FWD compact coupe when you won't have the power to make that much wheelspin (even in low traction situations). Plus, unlike something like airbags or even ABS, you can make up for no traction control with careful driving & planning. Plus, I really don't know of any other car in this class that would have traction control because of the cost factor...I know people don't like to hear things like this but a panoramic moonroof will sell more tCs then traction control. People just care more about style then safety :? .

I can understand why some people don't want the traction control - understood. But even with my highly trained right foot (Ha!) I've had the poops scared out of me while trying to make it up the side of a snowy mountain, with my front drive wheels trying to spin down the cliff side!

Either way, the tc is a bargain. It's unfortunate that they couldn't have it as an option, however.

its not that most of us don't want it, its that most of us dont' expect it in a car with so much already

i'm sure they will make LSD for this car sooner or later, tahts a form of traction control in a way

i live on long island out east so i know about snow and black ice because nobody really showels the snow out east

i have never had a problem with other cars with no traction control and more power you take it easy, you wont miss it

get the XB if your so worried about TCS and stuff
