Not the curse again
Story goes like this; I buy my Silver Streak 06 Scion xA from a woman sales consultant named "Christine." Which she gave me the best consulting on finance. So I told her dozens of times; she kicked ___ with that sale. I've talked with other sales consultants; there's something special about her. I personally believe she enjoys talking and helping people get into the "right" car than the commission. About month ago, I ran into her at the dealership waiting for my oil change and I admitted to her I was interested in buying tC down the road. Wasn't sure for a second car or to trade in the xA. So in other words, I only do deals with her. Reason why I'm mentioning this is, if you know Steven King books; you would know a book called "Christine." A cursed car who kills everyone linked to the drivers (I think that how the story goes.)
But within, few weeks of ownership with the xA. I had alot of bad things happen like running over hidden shredded tire tread on a interstate heading home from work. Scrach up front bumper, crack some plastic pieces, and left a nice rubber mark. And my personal favorite; semi-truck driver parks his truck on the shoulder on a "on-ramp" and he didn't see me coming. But he decided to go onto the interstate while I'm getting on. He kept moving onto the road and I had to gun it before he hits me. There's more but I'm not going to type them down.
I get my brand new tC last Wednesday; which Christine sold to me. It snows on that Friday...it's not fun breaking in a car during a snow storm. On my way home from work, I ran over small tree branch that is hidden in the snow and I drag it about 300 feet. Lucky for me, I was able to slowly grab it off the car. Today, I get the car washed and I get my Carbon Fiber door appliques from the dealer. So I installed them in the garage as I back out of the driveway...I crash my driver's side mirror into a wooden fence. The sucker is in pieces but the turn signal still works (Talking about Toyota quality, lol.) So I have electrical tape holding the mirror in place and the car is going back to the dealer tomorrow for accessories that I order when I bought the car. So I'm getting the estimate tomorrow as well. Funny thing about this is; the dealership called me on my cell phone as I crashed the mirror. So they already know about this
So when you buy a car from a saleswoman named "Christine" be careful

There is nothong wrong with women drivers. There is such a thing as bad luck. a lot of bad stuff happened in my last car like that. Since I've had my TC nothing bad has happened. There is a lot of good women drivers. There is bad drivers that are men and there is bad drivers that are women.

We have a very tricky driveway...left side is the next door neighbor's fence and on the right we have our house. They are three-five inches away from the driveway and of course we have snow banks taking away couple inches. Telling the truth; I'm surprised I haven't done it sooner within my three years of driving. When I had the xA; I was able to back out within seconds maybe I'm not used to backing out the tC to perfection?
So I have black automotive electric tape holding the mirror up and the sucker is hanging on tight. I'm very lucky the actual mirror isn't cracked or turn signal & power mirror wires weren't ripped off. Only the black plastic cover underneath got nailed. The silver cover is still in great shape.
By the way, I'm not the typical female. I rarely chat on the phone and never put on makeup while driving. I work nights since most of the stuff I ran over...I can't see it in the first place. Yes! I'm hard on the brakes but I'm also speeding like everyone else in Southeastern Wisconsin & Northern Illinois. I would like to see you guys make a transaction from xA to tC....I feel like I'm driving a sports car.

Sorry to hear about your car woes. I don't know if I'd call it bad luck, but certainly some unfortunate circumstances.
And honestly, whether stuff is your fault or not doesn't make a bad situation suck less. If my tC got messed up, I'd be sweatin' it regardless of who was at fault.
But yeah the problems seem to have nothing to do with your saleswoman (or Scion quality for that matter), just road debris and drivers.

I'll be truth on this...I might not be able to backup a Scion tC but I can push drag multiple bales (flatten down boxes together) of cardboard boxes. I can safely push least 2,000 lbs with only a forklift truck and also turn those boxes "on a dime." Try to beat that!! lol
