TRUE FACT: Gear driven superchargers rob your engine of valuable horsepower – you gain some – you lose some.
Example: you loose 700-800 HP to get the supercharger just to get moving on a 4000 HP NHRA Top Fuel Dragster, a 32% power loss just to get the supercharger to move. The ratio is almost the same for small superchargers plus keep in mind the extra added weight.
Electric supercharger zero loss. Our lightweight yet powerful superchargers are capable of moving 39,000 qts. of air into your engine intake (about 500 cfm or 2.1 psi.) without wasting one bit of HP due to product weight or gear friction loss.
