I want to get NRG Hood dampeners and I have a stock hood, so obviously I'd get the dampeners for stock hood.

However, I might steal the bf's CF kaminari reverse cowl hood. Will it be ok? Or would the force behing the stock hood dampeners be too much for the cf hood?

I believe the NRG's mount to the metal stock metal bracket and not to the hood itself -- so there shouldnt be much risk to the hood. I doubt the hood will fly up either -- its hard to image theyd have THAT much more psi

 

true. I asked cos NRG makes one specifically for cf hood, wanted to be safe

 

i think it would be to much pressure.

just get the cf shock and dont install it til you steal his hood
