i agree! gtr is so over rated and priced! the nissan dealer around my area had 3 gtr's. couple months ago. 2 of them sold for 160k and the third sold for 120k. they made almost 200k in profit on those cars!

LOL @ the people who said they would rather have a $17k econobox over a $76k (they sell for over msrp) supercar.

If the folks who own these things wouldn't use the launch control (Nissan has disabled the feature for 2010+ models) then they wouldn't have tranny issues.

u guys know that the new GT-R will not have the traction control anymore right? and it will not have the launch control... 09 will be the last model to have it. this is due to the warranty issue that most people complained about.
id rock a GTR but an R34 or R33 V Spec II of course... or a Mines R34.

GT-R you'll grenade the transmission with the launch control...

I would love to have a 370z over the gt-r. dont get me wrong the gt-r is awesome, but the warranty issues, coupled with the fact that the gt-r is about as far from the 'salaryman's supercar' that it's predecessors were as it can be, and well...

You guys keep talking about the tranny and all that jazz with the GT-R, the fact of the matter is, if you have a 600whp tC, you'll kill yourself trying to go around a corner anywhere NEAR the speeds the GT-R does. Without launch control and just good driving, a GT-R can still kill a 600whp tC around a track; you can't beat AWD and ~500bhp and a MUCH stiffer chassis.

Sid, The rates for the GTR are 5 dollars a mile im pretty sure with a minimum of 5 miles. I looked into getting it for my dad for christmas this year. The lambos like 10 dollars a mile with a 5 mile minimum. The GTR is one of the cheaper ones. Ive seen it, its sweet. When I was up at the Mall I parked my supra on the other side of the median next to the GTR. WOuld have tried to get right next to it, but they got them blocked off.

Seriously man? You gotta be an idiot (like the Guy who posted up about his SEXXY tC!!! ) Dude I dont understand why people think because they have a tC it is the most amazing car on the streets when its boosted. I know they are quick and have alot of potential but seriously you would take a econobox over a legend/super car? Seriously?
