OBD code question(s)
Well just lately my car has been getting the CEL.
I have a short ram intake. Before that I had a full cold air intake.
Neither of these has made the CEL turn on.
The short ram has been on since October 07.
I got a code reader and im getting 441,455,and 456
All having to do with emissions.
Ive been reading up and they are pointing to the gas pressure.
I also had my car serviced to fix the rust in the gas tank inlet.
I noticed since the first time it was repaired that it didnt feel as tight as it was before.
When I go to unscrew the gas cap you dont have to push down or anything just twist it and it comes right off.
It does click when I put it back on.
Do you guys think its the Short ram or the gas cap not "locking"?
thanks

I don't think it has to do with your intake. That isn't going to be able to do anything to fuel pressure. If you are correct and those codes point to gas pressure then I would guess that it has to do with the gas cap or the inlet. Take it back to the dealer.
Also why did change from a CAI to a short ram air? Short Ram Air(aka Hot Air Intake) would cause a decrease in power over the CAI and likely the stock intake.

I honestly dont see any differqnce in MPG, trotle response,or anything form long to short.
If anything the sound is a little better.
I dont have any way to measure HP but i doubt I lost any and if there was a loss it would be very minimal.
Yeah i dont really wanna go to the dealer but I may have to

Well I reset it but the light came back on and now its only pulling the 456 code which is an EVAP minor leak.
I recently had my gas tank inlet redone becasue of the "rust" on the outside.
Should I just take it back or do you guys think its something I can do at home?
I think I will look under the car and see if I see any loose parts
Also I have noticed that the gas cap is VERY easy to take off. When the car was stock and new the gas cap had to be pressed down and turned, now I can just barley move it and it come off. When I reaply the cap it will click but its easy to take off

you're probably not getting a tight seal after they cleaned up the petrol recepticle. The car will throw a CEL under this condition. I should be covered under warranty if your car is still covered (due to milage/years).
