I'm about to change my oil and I can't find an oil filter at any of the local car stores and i really don't want to get the car dealer to change my oil cause they suck. But could i use a 2.4 camry oil filter since its the same motor? and will my maintence required go away?

 

It should be that same filer, if in doubt every toyota dealer with a service dept has a parts counter, I would recomend buying a filter from the dealer. In my opionion they are better quality.

 

Even if the service there sux.....you don't have to let them change the oil...just go to the parts counter and buy some filters. Take them home and do it yourself....Thats what I do.
