Oil change question
I want to use one of the 3 free oil changes from scion but I want synthetic oil to be used in the change. Can I buy the oil and have them put it in or what? What are my options?
I have been reading up alot on oil recently, I agree synthetic is the way to go. However you might want to consider waiting a few oil changes before you switch over. The engine breaks-in better with dino oil supposedly. I am going to use my 3 free oil changes every 3000 miles, and then switch to synthetic for every 5000 miles there after (even though I could go longer).
I just bought an oil filter (part# 90915-YZZA2) for my tC. I've put 1020 miles on it in about 10 days and I am ready to change it myself. I used the 10% coupon for Toyota parts. I was told tC and some Camry share same engine. It should be fun getting my hands inside this babe
