Default oldest trd springs

im just wondering:

who has had their trd springs the longest?
Are you running on stock shocks?
Are your shocks blown?

I had mine put on in early May. They have 3k - 5k on them I would say. Stock shocks as well. I dont think you are going to notice too much degradation in shock life with just the trds on, they are a relatively mild drop.

I ran TRD springs for 3 months before my entire suspension caved in.
Oil pan dragged the ground and the entire car almost caught fire. Icing on the cake was having the springs disengage and fly throught each of the respective fenders that aligned nearest them,

bad bad experience overall

I would say that those were installed incorrectly. Having struts fail wouldn't do that, for sure. And i think TRD springs would not just break like that.

Had mine for almost a year and not a problem at all except for the squeaking that still happens here and there.

30,000 miles on TRD springs with stock shocks. Seems fine so far.

I've been running my TRD springs on stock shocks for 10-11 months, at least 12,000 miles.

Bumps are a little more harsh than they were almost a year ago, and the ride is just a little more bouncy than it was almost a year ago, but the shocks are nowhere near blown. Just a little, not a lot, not even enough to really complain about.

Scion doesn't want to be replacing shocks under warranty.. I think it's safe to say stock shocks with TRD springs will last at least 3 years.
