Hey I noticed yesterday that one of my headlights stopped working.. I tried the bulb out of it in the other side and it worked fine... seems its something else? Anyone else seen/had this happen..

 

Probably a wiring problem. Take it to the dealer for them to fix.

 

Are you using aftermarket Bulbs?

if so, check your headlight harness (the wire that the bulb clips onto) and see if it's burnt.

I haven't checked our fuse diagram, so I don't know if eash headlight uses a seperate fuse. You might want to check that as well.

Just guessing

 

I know on the xb eack headlight is on its own fuse you probably blew it out

Do Aftermarket bulbs cause this?

 

sometimes yes if your running a higher wattage bulb than the stock harnesses can handle.

 

Luminics?
I thought these were 'approved for the TC'
otherwise ALOT of other S/L members I guess *may* be having issueS?

 

Many members have had this issue. One of the Luminics retailers sells a beefier harness for the TC to use with their bulbs for $6 each I think.

Wow.. it's like you just described my situation...

1 week ago I turn on my luminics and BAM... one of them was out just like the original poster of the thread...

I took out the bulb and exactly the same thing you told was happening.. inside the wire harness, one of the metal pins was black...

I took it to the dealer (with my stock headlights of course lol ) and they told me they'll order a new one..

but yeah..

I guess Luminics + 6 months of usage = bad news for your harness
