When you spend $240 on tint. (Got it done at Top Of the Line Tinting in NJ (with a lifetime warran)... I consider it a "mod"...it enhances the car IMHO, and anything that changes/alters the car for better (or worse in some cases) is still a "mod".

 

240 for window tints is a bit on hte steep side... on a different note... how the hell do u get away with having 5% in NJ?

oh dang....you must have some tough @$$ cops. our cops are seriously the most laid back people ever. in my hometown (not lexington) the cops would actually go out and watch the illegal street races and not do anything to stop it.

Well my gf actually got it done for me for Valentine's Day which saved me some dough. As per it being expensive, I dont this she really shopped around, and wanted to get it at a reputable place with a nice little warranty on it. As for NJ the cops suck.... botton line car looks much more stealth.. once I get $240 in tickets for tint then they'll come off... haha

 

hahaha i had 2 cops wait at my car at hte mall cuz of my tints ... i waited until they left and then ran to my car, openned hte windows and tried to drive off ... maybe 100 feet later they pull me over and ask me to "roll up the window a bit"... it was all downhill from there.. i feel ya man.. hahaa

Cops shouldn't be staking out a car cuz it's been modified. there has to a law against that.

 

yeah its considered entrappment... unfortunately they didnt wait for me outside my car.. they waited until i drove off in the car... pulled me over later on... kind of a crappy situation...

 

not entrapment, that's if a cop tells you something is legal, waits for you to do it, then gives ya a ticket for it.

 

I know this part is pretty cheap to be what it is...but tell me if you all would trust it for your tC.
Its a turbo I found on ebay...$1,415 plus $85 shipping. But I'm not sure about it. Hard to judge these things.

i wouldn't buy anything on eBay that isn't under manufacturer warranty. I broke that rule last year and bought a TRD exhaust on eBay, but it was an actual Toyota part in OEM box w/number...so I think I'm good. But I personally wouldn't trust that kit.
