Default Oops...

So, a storm caught me by suprise today while I was out.
Unfortunatly for me I left my sunroof wide open. Ouch.

Im letting it dry out. Besides the smell that can be taken care of with some air freshners, any other damage anyone can think of?

Air freshners don't get rid of the smell, they just cover them up!

The smell is mold growing in the seats and carpeting from
the water and whatever other bacteria happens to be in the
air.

You kinda need to kill that to get rid of the smell.

I had a Porsche that had wool interior that got wet from a
sunroof leak. It smelled like a wet dog in there till I tore out
the interior and replaced it all. (sigh) what a mess that was!

let it dry, febreeze the s#!t out of the inside and let it air out again. The trick it to let it dry out will all the windows and the sunroof, doors, hatch open if possible. that will help to avoid a lot of mildew. My saturn was left out in the rain (a hard, blowing rain) with the passenger side window down. The floorboards were giant puddles. I aired it out real well and febreezed it. The smell lasted no more than a few days.

hey engifineer your sig about the binary is wrong it should be 01 "binary for two" not 10 "binary for one",,,,,,, but anyways a couple fans to help dry and then lots of fabreeze is the way to go to dry and get rid of bad smells in a wet car

No, 01 = 1 in binary, the places in order (using an 8 bit register for example) are :

128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1 . You read it from right to left just as decimal ( 1000's, 100's, 10's, 1's)

trust me, 10 = 2 . In my area of work I deal with enough number system variations to know the places

oh, i do believe you i just have to figure out why i was reading it backwards because i deal with binary from time to time at work but not very often, and i know it gets read the same as decimal.
