Go for the springs, it would be the best first mod that really makes a big difference. I just got the springs with stock shocks and no sway bar but it looks so much better with the drop and handles great with no body roll.

i had the springs on without the sway bar for a while... there is a lot of body roll still evident when you push the car hard into a corner with just the springs... i stayed with the OE shocks to keep the ride smooth as the TRD springs are made to work with the OE shocks. i just added on the rear sway bar and have it set on race, the ride is still smooth and now MOST of the body roll is gone. i think if you have the springs/shocks/sway bar it will kick ___. the sway bar is one of my favorite mods and it should have come standard on the car, but hey its pretty cheap now becuase of all the sales go pick up a package deal

If you can get the springs/shocks/sway all at once do it

Your car will thank you with much better response

Buy in this order until you run out of money

Springs
Rear Sway
Shocks
Strut Brace

since the car is pretty fast stock id work on your handling first. first get the trd sway bar ( this helped cornering alot ) then a strut brace and see how you like it. then decide if you want to lower the car after. i might not lower my car for awhile. i like the smooth stock ride and dont want to scrape my car on steep driveways
