Where is a good place to get this battery and installed? my oem battery seem to be on it's last leg. Also is there a better battery out there for my car? I have a sound system and car alarm with auto start if that means anything.

 

i just read an article in a thread on this site saying that those are way over priced and not worth it. ill see if i can find it again.

I just recently purchased a Yellowtop from a local auto place... It cost 169.99 and Ive been running it about a week with no issues. A little pricey but there more expensive Batt's out there so if you can cough the funds I would recommend it.

 

i have had my yellowtop for over three years without 1 single problem and i always blast my sterio and have it on for long periods of time with the car off love my optima

anyone used interstate? or is that a cheap brand ppl use?

 

I have used Interstate on my GTO and it was a fine battery,I let the car sit for like 2 months and it still fired right up.If you do Optima,remember it is mostly for car shows,or huge amps that get benifit from deepcycling.Other wise it is just a pretty battery.

 

Yeah thats why i dont really want to pay $180 for a battery. I don't run my stereo system loud. I just want a battery that'll last better then the OEM one.
