Options Question (Pricing and Installation)
Is it better to order the cheaper stuff online for the tC from McGeorge Parts or that Conicelli Parts Center and then have it installed, or is the price you get that stuff for when you order directly from the dealership already with installation? I'm looking at the mudguards specifically right now and I've seen the post on how to put them in, but I don't think I should attempt it. Also, if I ordered the cheaper ones online, would the dealership still install them or no?

If you are not comfortable doing it yourself, you should get them done at the dealers... or buy the parts from McGeorges and have someone (a specialist) do it for you. I asked my dealer the same question and they did not give me any answer... I took it as no they will not install it for me.
BTW... I'm a girl and I am going to attempt installing the mudguards myself. I don't know much about cars but from what JasonH has shown us in previous threads... it seems pretty easy. If I can do it... so can you.

i say whatever you can get PORT installed, get it port installed since the listed price of the item includes installation. as for me, i got the bodykit and subwoofer installed at port.
for anything else, if you can manage to do yourself and deal with the limited warranty on parts, then do so since it is a good amount cheaper in some cases to get parts online... i was in that dilemma myself...
unfortunately, the TRD exhaust is supposedly not able to be port installed here in the NJ/NYC area as my dealer told me (any NJ owners who got the exhaust through port, LET ME KNOW... althoguh my dealer is an awesome guy, can't trust ANYONE when it comes to buying a car), i'm getting my TRD sway, springs, and exhaust installed all together at the dealer for a flat fee of $ 240 (3hrs labor @$80). i figured that if it costs me $152.15 from McGeorge for the sway bar versus 165 +80 for installation at dealer while keping the 7 year warranty, i'd rather spend the extra 80... the total labor charge is only like a few dollars more per month anyway (all my labor costs are being factored into payments) so it's not a big deal to me. point being, i worked out a deal with my dealer.
