Default overproduction of tC?

i know the tC is going to get a lot of attention because it seems like a great car for the money...but i dont want to see one at every intersection i pull up to like a WRX or 350Z...i want to have something unique.

hopefully the tC wont sell like a camry

don't you think that's what's happening to the xB nowadays? if you think it happened to the WRX and 350z which are both priced more than the tC then chances are, you will see tCs everywhere!!!

personally, i dont think it will sell as much as the wrx or 350z... As it stands right now to me, I dont think the tc will be produced in mass numbers. I would say production would probably max out at probably 50,000 units. To me I see the scion and the tc to extent as a niche brand. Scion, as I see it, is started as a entry-economical brand which 18 to 30 yr olds can purchase, see it as a valuable brand, then when they are old enough move on to a toyota such as a camry or corolla. So no I dont think we'll see the Tc everywhere on the road.

no actually i dont see the xB very often at all...i hope it stays that way with the tC...scion hasnt gained a very respectable name yet like nissan (350z) or subaru (wrx) has because it is so new...therefore there shouldnt be TOO many on the road...the tC however is the best model yet so we'll see...its also more expensive

Most people don't buy the 350Z cause they can't afford it, same goes with STi and WRX...

Supply and demand people... The number Scion throws out isn't set in stone... If people buy, the number grows, if people hold back, the number shrinks...

Price is the determining factor and at 16,800 estimate... You'll see TOO many IMO... This is just pure business and economical fact....

Not sure if Scion intended, but I live in Virginia and I have seen only ONE xB and no xAs. Granted it has only been on sale since February but I have also seen only one TV ad. I guess Scion is going to put out a lot of commercials and advertisements in June what all the Scions go on sale nationwide.

I'm in Richmond, VA and have only seen one xB (Silver) on the road (at a taco bell drive thru). :D And I also saw one parked at a house in my neighborhood. So I guess I've seen just two outside of the dealers.
And I have not seen any xA's outside of the dealers.

thats true, here in southern california, about every other person owns a Z. The wrx isn't as plentaful, but it's getting there. I wish the tC had a limited number per year...less than 80K.

I think in the registry here, there are only 26 or so xA, and like 150 xB... That's going from memory.

Are all the tCs gonna look alike? There aren't as many options as the xB or xA right?
