Default Paint Problem Need Some Help Or 411

ok so my chick has a white tc and the other day i was washing her car and noticed some "rust" colored tiny spots all over the back end of the car. i started to freak out and it was all over the car as well. The funny thing was that it was not just on the metal but also on the plastic bumpers. has anyone ever had this problem with their white tC? She took the car to the dealership and they told her that the problem is because she does not "wax" it. Thats bull crap. Who's had this problem before

waxing does help. I know what you're talking about though... those little tiny gumdrop looking things... orange/brownish. I wanna say it's some sort of tree sap or something, but I've had those plenty of times.

I just scrape them off one by one, and scratch-x, polish as required afterwards. Then a good waxing keeps them off for a while.

edit: they look like tiny caramel spots, right?

if you have that problem use warm water to get it off.

I had the it on the Camry, I though it was fly poo, but it was sap. From the pine tree in my yard that i park to keep the car cool during the summer time. Dum of me that tree poop. I hate the summer in the Dirty South that make you dirty!

A clay bar kit will take care of it, plus any other stuff like road tar off and leaves you with an awesome finish.

clay will take all of that stuff off. Its mostly pollen, sap, and road dirt that is sticking to your paint.

like I and others have said, a good claying will take everything out of your paint and make it perfectly smooth again.
