Default parking/running light socket

I bought l.e.d's for the parking/running light, but I can't turn the parking/running light socket, no matter how hard i turn it. Are you supposed to use your hands to twist it. Because it seems hopeless. I dont know how all you guys are doing it. :? Any advise?

it WILL turn, just try from the front, from the side, with your right hand, left hand. Make sure that you are turning it counterclockwise in the position as if you were facing it! Good luck, if my g/f can do it, you can...

Use a wrench.. atleast I did.. it's hard to get to with your hands.. atleast my fat hands... Pliers or a small wrench can do it simply

I had the same problem with my licence plate sockets until I came up with the idea to warm them up first then try to turn it. Just let the lights run until they warm the plastic up. It comes off much easier.
