ummm can you explain to me how only the e-brake gets weak when drifting, and not the whole rear brakes? (of the brake system that is, not including that the tranny gets weak too)

Why would the entire rear brake system get weak? The handbrake is connected to a mini drum brake inside the rear rotor, which is what operates the hand brake.

The hand brake is 100% independent of the disc braking system.

Manual driving 101:

* When you first get in your car, shift to neutral and check to make sure it is in neutral.

* Never dump the clutch when you don't know what's going on.

Internet posting 101:

What I find funniest is that you don't let your brother drive your car precisely because he handles a manual tranny better than you

^^^^^^^ exactly, you are in control of your vehicle, right? If someone leaves your turn signal on while parking, do you feel obligated to turn that direction?!?!

Lemme tell ya about those turn signal thingies - when I lived in Texas nobody in that part of the state used signals, and if you DID see a turn signal blinking on a new car, you could pretty much figure it came that way from the dealer. *blink* *blink* *blink* *blink* *blink* *blink* *blink* *blink* ...

ummm can you explain to me how only the e-brake gets weak when drifting, and not the whole rear brakes?
The parking brake (AKA emergency brake) is a cable operated system, and folks who use that system to lock the rear wheels while driving like a spavined idiot often end up stretching the cables and/or weakening them with repeated over-design-limit use.
