Is it possible to modify the passenger head rest so that it tilts just like the driver's? If not, how much should a new driver's headrest cost me? Is it the same as on xA and Xb?

Would anyone like to trade with me their regular driver's headrest for my passenger? Im willing to add a little cash to sweeten the pot.

Reason why I need this - my girlfriend was in an accident and she needs the tilting headrest to support her neck better, so naturally I swapped the driver's and the passenger's. The only thing is - now I am uncomfortable. So I would like a fast solution for this.

the driver side head rest tilts? hmmm i dont' think mine does.... maybe I got ripped? how does it tilt?

 

it tilts forward and back... just use some force... it'll move or at least it should

the tilt mode is great. Even my dad's Mitsubish Endeavor Limited doesnt have that. But i still cant find it anywhere - any opinions?

 

Go to a Scion meet or show, go sit in a tC and "Hey nice car yeh... yeh... thats cool.... LOOK A UNICORN!" and BAM! you got yourself a tilting headrest.

Car to new for a junk yard, Best bet would be to trade...

 

Fast solution = Let your girlfriend drive the tC...that way she has the tilt headrest all of the time. :D

If tonly the trip wasnt this long. San Fran is a bit far away. If you want I'll fed-ex you a bottle, and we can hold a webcam chat with both of us drinking it ;). but seriously anyone else have any ideas - my neck is getting tired of this ____.

i think they should have designed the headrest like the ones on the camry. sometimes i lean back too hard and it moves out of place and i have to readjust it again.

Seriously though, they do sell pillows u can put under your neck for long trips and such. Or try messaging the guy who totalled his tC...maybe he has a headrest.

Well I must say instead of getting someone to send you headreast you have sparked the interest of everyone to like their headrests more.

 

For the passenger one, sometimes I just put it on backwards. It makes the headrest more flush with the seat so you can lean your head back. Two sides to every headrest

BTW, the "lounge/conversational" configuration of the seats work real nicely at the beach

NO FRICKIN WAY! Yeah, I have found so many little things out about this car...I wonder why my dealer didnt bother showing them off?
