Default passing question

so i sent to my local toyota dealer and they dident have any tC's in stock but had an xA. it wasent a bad car but after 60 there was no power at all and i was worried that mabey it would be the same story with the tC. hoping not because the #'s for the tC look good but mabey the gearing is not that great im just wondering if ill have problems passing people on back roads wehre i dont have much time to pass and i need to get around some slow ____ as fast as possible to avoid being hit by oncoming traffic.

The xA has way less power its going to be slower and not pull as hard once it gets going. Its not a big deal with the tC.

The xA has about 50 less HP and tq than the tC, so you really cant make a valid comparison from one to the other, they are completely different cars. One nice thing with the tC is that I can be running 60 in 5th, punch it and pass someone. It does very well.

If your going to do that to the guy, at least do it fully right.

So I went to my local Toyota dealer and they did'nt have any tC's in stock, but they had an xA. It was'nt a bad car, but after 60 there was no power at all. I'm worried that mabey it will be the same story with the tC. Hoping not because the #'s for the tC look good, but mabey the gearing is not that great. I'm just wondering if I'll have problems passing people on back roads, where I dont have much time to pass, and I need to get around some slow people as fast as possible to avoid getting hit by oncoming traffic.
Sorry about that If your a good enough driver, you should be able to know how to pass ppl. If your car is not that fast, just drop back from the guy in front of you. Get a good 100 feet between you, then drop it 4th gear & go. By time you close that 100 foot gap, you should be able to pass them with no problem.
