Why is it that when i want to just cruise home and chill people seem to want to race or try and ____ me off? Tonight I was praying for one of the cops to pop up and pull over the jackass Focus driver with exhaust that wouldnt seem to get the hint that i didnt want to race him. Also I wanted to stick it to the jackass in the V6 camaro that got all ____ed off when i changed lanes about 50 yards in front of him to turn. When we got to the red light and i was behind him he tried to brake check me. what a dunce. Sorry for the rant, but this is getting ridiculous. Does anyone else have any stories similar to this?

 

Yes it happens all the time. Happens to everyone. I went friday night with my friends and I got revved at 4 times, all by hondas. I am not sure but there might be a thread already like this.

 

yeah, happened to me last night. i was just rolling down the road doing the speed limit, and some kid in his dad's g35 sedan lines up next to me and keep speeding up to 70 mph or so, and slowing down and waiting for me, he did it twice. now granted, i have cf hood, and epically loud exhaust, i was just driving down the road.

the funny part though, was while he was stopped at a light ahead of me, i was able to come through at speed having done the speed limit, and easily overtake him through the merge area and make him stare at my tailights for miles.

 

my bad if there is a thread like this. if they want to race lets go to the track so i dont have to worry about tickets and other people. Also all these honda civics need to educate themselves that a 1.8l non Si will not beat a 2.4L.

 

i love it when that happens. I fly by and thank them for waiting at the light so its green when i get there.

 

I especially like the ones that rev where there is no where to race. We were in the city that has cars parked on both sides with lots of people and hills and some ugly light civic with purple lights gets behind me and starts revving. Also I was turning and passed a honda that was going the opposite direction waiting for the light and he revved at me.

 

Two days ago.......

I had stock tC revving at long stop light during rush hour. Let's just say, I wanted to get out of the car and punch the dude to shut him up.

How stupid can you be???? Doing that crap during rush hour on one of the busiest streets in the city & also locally known to be hot cop speed trap zone???

I think any modded car at some point is going to run into these situations. Its just the small price you pay. If you want less of it buy a higher end car I guess? tcs, civics, eclipses, tibs, are all entry level cars alot of young people get as first cars, myself included.

 

Yeah some douche in a white SRT4 try to race me on I5 when I was making a 6hr trip back to school after winter break. I just ignored him and he boosted on me. I was hoping a cop showed up and pulled him over or he runs his car into a tree. Whichever is good. hehehe

 

I have co-worker who has a SRT4...He always drives it like bat out of hell & brags every car he raced. Already broke the clutch within the 1st month he bought it. It's bone stock. I'm wondering how soon will the car seriously break before the "total payoff"?

 

^ Yeah a guy I know has a stage 2 SRT4. Its a fast car and he drives it responsible, he doesn't race it on the streets just on the track and i respect him for that.

 

I'm a strong believer in "There's dragstrip about 15 minutes away. Why not go there..." Sh!!tt they even do free racing days to encourage racing on the strip than the streets. I'll straight out admit I'm not a angel-if I want to screw around, I'll take it @ 6 am on Sundays on the frontage roads. You rarely see other cars and I'm just leadfooting with nobody. I play for three minutes; tops. I drive normally after.

Then on the other hand, I have a cousin who has SXT with SRT4 engine and had his license suspended two times. Now, he has junker Neon that he only drives to work & back. Takes the SXT to dragstrips. I hope he learned his lesson. I know hes paying over 300 a month for insurance because of his reckless driving.

1 hour is alot.

I get douchers trying to race me every day. The best is the midlife crisis 50 year old tool in his 3 series jumping off the line. He must feel really good about himself as he sees me not even trying the slightest bit.

 

With my 300ZX TT, I have stangs, vettes, and supras trying to get me to race. Anywhere you go, if you're young [hell, even older] with a modified car, you'll have people trying to race you. It comes with the territory.

 

This crap happens all the time while driving my 6. At least the ricers and wannabe street racers give me a good laugh, but what ____ed me off is people in minivans that aren't even going the posted speed limit that try to brake-check you and intentionally don't let you get around them. I'm not a reckless driver, I just hate being stuck behind someone.

 

Well i was getting rev'd at when I was doing the last photoshoot, but that was a turbo'd eclipse, so I didnt care too much. lol
