yea well im sure not many of us just have cash thrown at our cars because we "know" the right people. im willing to bet i've done more of my own work to my car in the last 2 days than she's done the whole time shes owned it. And driving it to a show or staying up late at night to clean it doesnt count. get real, i heard u to talking to people at united you didnt know jack poop about the car. you threw money at it and let shops do the work. this doesnt prove you know how to build a car it just proves you have more money than the average scion owner, which isnt saying much considering we all drive economy cars.
Woah woah woah. Excuse me? The only work not done on my car myself was paint & body, the fiberglassing on my sound system (which by the way, my system has been taken apart & put back together myself), upholstery, the turbo/supercharger install, tuning & my air ride. I have so many friends that can vouch for me on working on my own car. Nice try there, chief. You don't know me, nor did I have a single in depth conversation about my car with anyone at United. My interiors been painted myself, the fiberglassing on my door panels were done myself (I've got a damn 3" scar on my leg from cutting my panels with a dremel to show for it), sound system was done myself, taking my whole supercharger out for the 2nd time & put back together myself, 20 hours of hand sand polishing was done myself, head unit install, roll cage, seats, building a false floor for the back, all the stuff in my engine bay aside from the turbo itself, changing my brake pads, baked my headlights & fabricated them myself, made my grilles myself (I even made the tabs myself), etc etc. I DID 80% of the work on my car. HOW DARE YOU DISCREDIT ME FROM THAT. You don't even know how many countless nights I have spent in my garage working on my car. You're incredibly disrespectful & don't even have a clue of what I'm capable of. & as far as WHO I know. Chris Rado & the gang at World-Racing are the only high caliber people I know. I've EARNED my sponsorships by sending proposals to companies just like many other people. Don't think for a second I have things handed to me because you don't have a clue how hard I work.

Custom shop in Canoga Park, CA for my blue 2-tone paint job.
AutoFashion for my Air Runner (warranty purposes)
A&A Autoworks for my atrocious paint/body work
Hamer Toyota for my supercharger install
World-Racing for my turbo

Pacific Stereo for my 2nd sound system enclosure
Auto Explosion for my 2nd paint job & new body work that A&A messed up

Thats it, in my whole 3.5 yrs of building this car.

I can vouch for that. She spends crazy amounts of time doing stuff herself. She obviously can't build system enclosures, paint, or mold fiberglass, but then again, most people can't when they're working in their garage. This girl knows her stuff and isn't afraid to get dirty working on her car.

If you're going to hate, then hate. There is no need to get personal about this. The proposals shes sent out, the money shes saved up and blown, the long nights working on the car, etc., etc. I can vouch for Tina on everything. She's busted her a$$ on this car and i was there to see it happen. So FYVM.
