Default photoshop speculation. 4 doors?

to begin, childish postwhoring can be left at the door.

what do you guys think?

i don't think it's too crazy of an idea. the tC is built on a long, 4-door sedan chassis after all. i don't have many passengers, but i've got a feeling that anyone who loads passengers on a normal basis is going to take some wear and tear. passengers are often clumsy and don't realize that taking care of a new car requires some extra care and caution. this might alleviate that problem to an extent.

it would almost certainly be more convenient than the current configuration. i wonder how 2 more suicide doors would fare with insurance companies. could we call the tC a full fledge 4 door? cheaper insurance anyone?

structural rigidy would be gone without some serious reinforcement. reinforcement would add weight to the somewhat chubby platform. side impact crash ratings would suffer lower scores without some serious engineering.

some might say it looks too much like an Ion, but i did the photoshop with the RX-8 configuration in mind. a blend between sporty and practical.

i don't really need 4 doors, but i'm sure some owners would benefit.

thoughts?

It is a great idea, but not my bag. The chop looks good and the idea is there.
I think people would definately go for it. Great work.
Just not me, Personally I dont like those kind of doors, my #2 prob with the RX-8 (#1 being non-turbo) and what I dont like about the Ions. I like mine 2 door.

But as I said before, it looks like a great idea and you did a good chop.

Default I'd enjoy it

I'd enjoy it as it would be a bit easier, for my passengers to jump in back or to grab my book bags or lap top from the rear seat instead of leaving it in the front passenger..

Your photo shop looks good, but the 4-door idea sucks!

if the tC was a 4-door i wouldve bought a celica, no 4-doors for me,
i say *** passengers they can walk

if the tC gets released with a 4 door option or even 3, then every old man and soccer mom will want to park one in there garage, thats good for toyota bad for "tC Enthusiasts"
AKA: real car lovers

i'm laughing at the amount of people who think that the number of doors on a vehicle determine performance value.

if you want a coupe, don't buy cars that are built on economy-class sedan platforms.

Kind of reminds me of the RX-8. Not a bad idea, dont know if that will help on insurance though.
