moisture and condensation will happen to any set of headlights that aren't sealed well, and i think these don't come sealed very well from factory. you can just reseal them when you get them if you'd like.

Yes they are DOT approved, it says right on the headlight housing. I'm not sure what bulbs they take but they come with bulbs so you shouldn't have to buy any to begin with. Visibility is a 1 up for the headlights and twice as nice with the brights on. Except that they shine a little low (this is exaggerated in the picture because my driveway faces down toward my garage) so when you go down hill and turn you need brights. And yes I like them a lot and would buy em again if I had to.

How can you go about resealing them so as to prevent moisture? I lived in miami for a year too, assuming your avatar speaks to your hometown

just take the headlights off and put a layer of clear silicone all around the housing.

i bought the same exact ones about 4 months ago and they were working fine but now one of the small LED's in the corner on the right headlight has gone out and the ring around the high beam. Oh and just to let anyone who wants to know the bulbs used for the projector and high beams are the same and they are H1 bulbs.

I'm not sure what you mean by cutoff mod, unless you're talking about smoking the eyelids on the headlight, which would look stupid with chrome.

I decided that I'm not going for a batmobile-racer style car, more of a classy black on chrome theme that you would see on an Audi A8. Afterall, you gotta admit this car is slow as all hell. >_<

tcs are only slow ___ hell until you start modding them. there a good platform to work with and if you dont spend youre money on pointless stuff youre car might be a little quicker.

Those are some good looking lights but I'd have to bake them and paint all that unnecessary chrome inside the housing...I'm not some for 'bling bling' so to speak.

wow yes dead thread.

i have since lost affinity for anything chrome and have switched back to oem housings with tinted sidemarkers. I have a set of spec headlights lying around too, but my oven is broken and I havent gotten a chance to bust into them and tint and paint and whatnot.

if anyone wants those old headlights ill sell em for like 30 bucks :O they were nasty.

This is what it looks like now. Better? I think so.
